Overview

The Regional Workshop on Strengthening Paediatric Medicines Ecosystems in the ASEAN Region was convened in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, from 11–13 May 2026, under the auspices of WHO and the Global Accelerator for Paediatric Formulations (GAP-f), with support from the Temasek Foundation. The workshop marked the official launch of a three-year initiative to update regional priorities for paediatric formulations, strengthen national paediatric medicines ecosystems, and assess the feasibility of a harmonized paediatric medicines data collaboration across selected ASEAN pilot countries.
