WHO and the International Labour Organization (ILO) will jointly host a global webinar to launch the new monitoring and evalutation framework: Universal social protection inclusive of people with tuberculosis and discuss how it can be used to strengthen monitoring, accountability and action towards the 2027 target.
The event will bring together government representatives, people affected by tuberculosis (TB), civil society, WHO and ILO, and experts in social protection and evaluation. The discussion will draw on country experiences and the perspectives of people affected by TB, and explore opportunities to build on existing health and social protection monitoring systems to translate global commitments into measurable progress.
