- Health Voices for Equitable Phaseout of Fossil Fuels - 31 March 2026, 3 pm EST/ 8 pm GMT / 9 pm CET. Organized by Alliance of Nurses for Healthy Environments, Doctors for the Environment Australia, Canadian Association of Physicians for the Environment, African Bioethics Network, Médicos pelo Clima Brasil in collaboration with WHO. WHO in collaboration with Wellcome and the health community hosted the Health Pavilion at the COP30 UN Climate Conference, that took place in Belém, Brazil, from 10 to 21 November 2025. The Health Pavilion, located in the Blue Zone, convened the global health community and key stakeholders across various sectors to ensure health and equity are placed at the centre of climate negotiations. It offered a rich 2-week programme of events showcasing evidence, initiatives and solutions to maximize the health benefits of tackling climate change across regions, sectors and communities.
